HGV Class 1 Drivers

Our client based in Kettering are looking for a number of Class 1 drivers to join their expanding transport team.

Various start times available AM/PM/Nights, Immediate starts available

• The rate of pay is £18ph PAYE with accrued holiday or £20.42ph PAYE with holiday roll up.
• Addition pay for weekend cover £19ph - £22.78ph

The job will include but not limited to

• Daily Vehicle Checks
• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery truck to transport goods to designated locations
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure its safe operation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and invoices
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any inquiries or concern

The right candidate will

• Hold a Valid C+E Class 1 Licence
• Have a Valid Digi Card
• Have a valid CPC Card
• Have knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Have no more than 6 points speeding only (No, DRs, DDs, IN10s, CUs etc)
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• 3 Driver Cards (Driving Licence, Digi, CPC)
